Rain, Rain Go Away ...

In the midst of the coldest May on record in 10 years; and the wettest May on record in 5 years ... nature comes through for us, with beautiful signs of spring. I love looking out the window and seeing these bursts of color amongst the wet and gray:

Don't get me wrong ... I appreciate the beauty that is the end-product of all the rain. But, sometimes, enough is enough.

The weather pros are predicting the possibility of a dry holiday weekend. That would be a welcome change indeed!

Wishing you a wonderful, safe, and relaxing Memorial Day weekend.

Great pictures. Although I am tired of all this wet, cold weather. It's the end of May for heaven's sake!

Too true, but we sit on the edge of another drought and I am terrified to make a mistaken comment about rain! Loved the pictures, though...

It's been so wet around here I think I'm growing webbing between my fingers and toes!

We've been cold without the rain although it was a wet winter for us. It's been a beautiful spring here too. I'm loving all the blooms.

Hi Kelly-- I love those tiny blue flowers but can never remember the name of them. We had them all over our garden when I was growing up in Ohio-- Thanks for the great flashback.

I hope your weather cooperates so you can have a sunny and dry Memorial Day weekend. After all that rain you sure deserve it.

Thanks for your kind comment about my friend, Mrs. Smith. I really appreciate it. Her garden had those tiny blue flowers too :-)

Cheers,
jj

I have that same type of clematis in my garden. Lovely! We’ve had an unusually warm and dry May – perhaps we swapped.
