I've mentioned it often ... my love of travel. Recently, and for various reasons, 'big' travel has not been able to grace our to-do list. When I start feeling antsy, but can't hop on the next flight to some wonderful destination, I look through pictures. This week, I have been enjoying Kauai. We traveled there in late 2007. Please join me on a quick photo-trip through the gorgeous island ... and be sure to play the video at the end!

We honeymooned on Kauai and returned for out 10th anniversary. Isn't it just gorgeous? Thanks for sharing the photos!
beautiful pictures! I lived on Oahu for 4 years and spent only one day on Kauai..but it was unforgettable!
Oh, Wow! Gorgeous pictures! I have never been to Hawaii. My inlaws just came back from there a few days ago. She brought back fun souvenirs for the kids. Among other things, my youngest got a ukelele, my oldest -an instrument made of coconut, my daughter- a hula skirt and leis. My daughter made the boys get in their swim trunks, put on their shell necklaces, and they permormed for us! It was so cute!
Beautiful pictures! I wish I was there!
Man o' man, that zip line looks awesome. I've only been to Hawaii once, but we didn't do near the cool stuff you did.
Loved the post on Dr. Seuss too. We first grade teachers get to celebrate that every year.
Very cool blog.
Your title loaded up before the rest of the post and I spoke out loud, "Yes thank you..." You didn't really invite me on an actual trip though, did you? ;-) I'd do the zip line!
These pics are lovely and you've inspired me to start pestering the hubby for a trip back to Maui :-)
Beautiful! I went to Kauai once. Thanks for the wonderful reminder.
Stunningly pretty scenery! Nice zip too!
I went to Hawaii years ago and would also love to return. Magical photos!
that looks so nice!
Kauai is actually on my want-to-visit list! So, I really enjoyed this photos.
I love to travel, too, but there's always that day when, missing my bed, I click my heels and say, "There's no place like home."
What absolutely gorgeous scenery! You lucky family.
I'm a Brit. who has been living and teaching in Greece for the last 20 years and your 'Dream' Island resembles quite a few of the places close to me. Aren't they breathtaking?
I've just started to folow your blog - so thanks for the super introduction.
I see you in that rainbow.
Wow, a wonderful armchair travelogue of the exotic islands. I like your blog title. As a former English teacher I can fully appreciate the apostrophe in T's.
Thank you for all your kind, wonderful comments ... I truly enjoy reading them! And, welcome Ann Marie (ahhh, to live in Greece ... must be stunning!) and Paul C!!
Kelly, LOVE these pics! We went to Kauai in February of 2006 and visited many of the same spots. We also stayed in Poipu. Makes me want to go back so badly!! Cari
